Even if you haven’t read <a href='https://www.windowscentral.com/clx-ra-day-one-unboxing' data-mce-href='https://www.windowscentral.com/clx-ra-day-one-unboxing'>their article</a>, you can probably guess the answer and so we packed up a premium custom build and sent it their way. For those dying to know here were the specs:OS – Windows 10 HomeCase – Ra Evolve X Foundry II Edition, Jade GreenMotherboard – ASRock Z590 Taichi Wi-fiProcessor – Intel Core i9-11900K @ 3.5GHzGPU – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 24GB/GDDR6XRAM – 32GB Trident DDR4-3600Storage – 1TB Seagate Firecuda 520 NVMe M.2 SSD & 4TB Seagate Barracuda HDDPSU – EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3 80 Plus GoldCooling – CLX Temper Hardline Liquid CoolingNow as we tend to do, this system was customized by Windows Central or more specifically Daniel Rubino, Executive Editor and Rich Edmond, Chief PC Tower Builder from Windows Central. When we approach a review opportunity, we try to make the experience as authentic as possible. It’s no secret that most organizations building a product for review will go the extra mile, which is why we instead do the same thing we do for our customers – direct them to our custom configurator. Through the configurator anyone interested in a CLX PC be they a customer, a ‘window shopper’, a reviewer, or any other permutation of visitor gets the same experience. Whether your budget is $800 or $8,000 the customization options available to you are the same and only change as we update our products to provide the latest and greatest in gaming technology. In their review Daniel Rubino from Windows Central goes on to state “The sheer amount of component options is almost overwhelming — but also impressive.” And this is a compliment that we both take to heart, and seriously. We understand that when you’re shopping for a PC, your knowledge is different than virtually every other customer, and so we had to come up with a solution that matches everyone’s needs. As their article points out; yes, you could try to snag an AMD Threadripper for its obscene performance, but few people if anyone needs that for a gaming machine. Our customization system guides you through not just the look and feel, but each individual component, step by step and outlines possible conflicts such as an AMD Motherboard with an Intel CPU, or even the literal size of your GPU. Seriously, the 3090 is a really big cards folks, and if you didn’t know that and ordered a Mini-ATX system & case with no warning; you would probably be very disappointed at your unusable $1,500+ graphics card. Luckily the system prevents you from placing any orders that have a conflict, preventing issues that you would potentially come across when building a PC yourself. Strangely when Windows Central received their review unit, UPS had to call them up and schedule a delivery time, this experience likely depends on your location but it’s good to know due diligence was made by UPS in this instance. What doesn’t differ is the lengths we go to ensure your PC arrives the same way as it was shipped. While it may seem overkill, the premium sarcophagus wooden shipping crate comes standard with the CLX Ra and has even seen improvements over the past year to make unboxing easier. Inside the crate is plenty of packing between bubble wrap, foam corners, and a Styrofoam insert to protect the internals, and any additional paperwork or devices you may need based on your customization options. Also, you get a nice wooden crate to use as a table or storage once you’ve removed your PC, bonus! But anyways, back to the review – wait where is the review? Well, we’re not sure what happened but part two of Window Central’s review never went live and they ended part one with the unboxing.
