Ready-To-Ship systems are a unique beast to tackle when you’re an organization known for being a customization powerhouse. How do we adapt our wide, diverse portfolio of components into a selection of well-rounded systems that cater to needs of our customers? With 37+ unique RTS systems available we began by looking at the needs of our userbase. Systems come in a variety of configurations, but these are catered to specific themes or designs. PC gaming is our bread and butter, but we also tailor to people focused on things such as content creation, video editing, live streaming, etc. As it so happens, not every customer or person in search of a PC is the same. Knowledge, age, experience, etc. All factor heavily into what an individual both wants to get out of their PC and what needs to go into it. While we provide a live chat with our technicians and support team to guide people who have questions through the customization process, not everyone wants to bother. This is why we had our experts work their magic designing the Ready-To-Ship CLX PCs. Of course, there is also the added benefit of next-day shipping meaning should you order an RTS PC, you will receive it just a bit faster than a fully custom gaming PC. But with that said, the other side of that coin is understanding the customized PC experience and just how easy we make it for you. Designing and building your own PC at home is an amazing experience but if you’ve never done it before, a risky endeavour. Speaking from experience, witnessing an experienced builder crack a Motherboard at home is not a fun activity for anyone. Now an obvious and clear upside that almost everyone will tell you when ordering a custom PC is the warranty. Here at CLX you receive a lifetime warranty for both Technical and Labor coverage, meaning if you want an upgrade 5 years later, it’s covered. Components start with a 1-year coverage, and you can choose to go up to 2 or 3 years if you wish. These warranties also apply to RTS systems! When designing a custom PC for gaming, streaming, or the like you’re going to have more freedom than a pre-built. One of the benefits of having a company handling the build process is that you get to work with them, either directly or through their configurator. Using the CLX configurator as an example we design the entire system step-by-step starting with the chassis and its appearance. We then work through the internal components including often forgotten options such as wireless receivers or soundcards.
