The GeForce RTX 4090, powdered by the Nvidia Ada Lovelace architecture, sporting 24GB of G6X Memory looks to deliver the ultimate experience for gamers and creators.<br></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p><br><strong>A lot of power in a big package<br><br></strong></p><p><strong><br data-mce-bogus='1'></strong></p><p>Contrary to most technological improvements, Nvidia’s new RTX 4090 is a size up to it’s older 30 series brethren. While the 4090 Founders Edition may sport a very slightly shorter length than the 3090 Founders Editions, nearly all other makes are longer, thicker, and wider than the 3090. But why does this matter? Well, it may seem obvious, but the fact is that not all gaming PCs are the same size. Computer Chassis come primarily in 3 standard sizes: Full tower, Mid tower, and Mini-ITX. If you’re rocking a Mini-ITX, or even certain Mid sized towers, the 4090’s large footprint may not be compatible with your layout, especially on a build with other PCI-e cards such as a capture or sound card.<br><br></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p><strong>The new hottest component on the market<br><br></strong></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p>If you’ve been paying attention to the launch of the 4090 already, you may have seen the dreaded melt down of connectors associated with the 4090. This is a tricky thing to analyze because there is simply so many variables at hand. This could be caused by specific PSUs, a bad batch of cables with early cards, or something completely unexpected. Interestingly, the actual thermals for the RTX 4090 seem to be quite good, with its improved efficiency and performance allowing it to run intense graphical processes such as 4k editing or PC gaming with ease. Regardless, know that should you choose to go with an RTX 4090 in your CLX PC, you are in good hands. Their new streaming multiprocessors looking to be up to twice as efficient and the previous 30 series generation. A Fourth Generation of Tensor Cores to further improve upon AI performance, and a Third Generation of RT Cores for vastly increased ray tracing performance. Pair these improvements up with existing features and tools such as their NVENC Encoder, Nvidia Reflex, DLSS 3, Studio, G-SYNC, and more and we’ve got a serious powerhouse of a GPU on your hands.<br><br><br></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p><strong>Aiming for the future</strong></p><p><br data-mce-bogus='1'></p><p>It should come as little to no surprise that the RTX 4090 can handily output content in 4K, but with 4K rapidly becoming the standard in gaming and streaming, what’s next? In somewhat unoriginal fashion, the industry standard of just double it occurs and we look to 8K HDR Gaming.
